The bootloader, seems pretty much up to date.
I'm still downloading the Prophet ROM. I'll let you know how it turns out.

The ROM flashed successfully, but it failed to boot beyond the splash screen (before turning off).

I've now given up on this unit.

I'll now be going back to using my Magicain as my main phone.

Thanks your many wonderful efforts.

It actually works. Unfortunately, it only works when I connect an external power adaptor to the pins. It doesn't work with the battery inserted.

Is it possible for you to upload the drivers you had mentioned before?

I'll try to get time for the drivers tomorow. Is the splashscreen you talked about the first (T-Mobile one) or the one of the ROM?

The splashscreen, is the one fromt the ROM (it says QTEK).

I don't know what I'm going to do as yet about my battery situation, as I have to keep it connected to an 5V adaptor to get it to work.

Try to use the battery in your Magician. Does it work?

The battery from my Magician, causes the same symptoms in my Charmer.
The battery from my Charmer, works fine on my Magician.

OK strange. Next I can think of is changing the Battery System. (The thing with the charging system and the transistors to get a good voltage). I think it is connected to the board and can be chahged, but I cant trust. So please look in the Service Manual of Charmer or Magician to find out.
Have a nice day

Whenever I look at the mainboard itself, the whole thing seems fully integrated. I don't see anything to be removed.
