Default Question with MPX200

Hi,

1 years ago i had flashed the windows mobile 5 to my mpx200, but it didn't worked.
I don't know, if it was an accident, that the phone was after this flash death, or i did something wrong. I sent it to Motorola and they sayed the memory in the device was death and they changed the memory.

2 Monts later i gave the device to my dad, because i bought a HTC Wizard.
Now he want's a new rom for the old phone and i want to know, was it an accident? Maybe it was the Memory Card? But which Cards are compatible for flashing Windows Mobile 5, 6.0 or 6.1? It's an 1GB Extrememory Card.

Needs the Phone more battery with an WM6.1 rom? At the moment, there is an Windows mobile 2003 Rom on it and the Battery just holds 2 Days, without doint something with the Phone!

Thanks!

(Sorry for my bad englisch, but i'm from Germany )

Hello!

A developer called Win_XP told us in an other thread that some of the mpx200
phones cannot be flashed to WM5, 6 or 6.1 because of a hardware issue. So in case you did everything perfectly at the flashing you might have one of that phones.
Anyway here is a link for WM6.1, you can get some information about flashing here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=383687
It's much easier to flash it than WM5 so if you think you can give it a try (at your own risk of course).

My battery works 2 or 3 days with wm6.1 I think it's okay.
