Very scary 20 minutes ...

While the steps describe what action to perform, it doesn't give much information as what the device will do once you've typed the command.

For mine, at some stage i had no indication if the device was on, or off or connected properly. All you get is a blank, black screen

I continued to follow the instructions until the end and then flashed the original Kaiser ROM (the original one).

And it worked.

IMO, instructions should be appended to describe how the device will respond after a command (either screen turns off etc...).
Also, before the starting FrankenKaiser the 2nd time, make sure mtty is closed first.

It was scary as not only you can't tell if the device is on or off, plus you can't see if you've typed the command properly.

As promised, my $50 is on the way.

I hope others will keep their word and donate as promised.

I'm stuck, no surprises there... Get to step 11 cego boot ce manually... done...

but still no sign of the tri colour boot screen I think I killed my HTC...

it's the Green button (dial)

Frankly, based on the questions you've asked so far. I reckon you should stick with 1.65.17.10 or you're going to brick your phone.

You couldn't even type a command in a command prompt for god's sake!

then open mtty connect to your port enter dload and close mtty.
DO NOT PULL THE CABLE
now run the dos command and wait till it finishes
DO NOT PULL THE CABLE
open mtty do the setboot then cego
follow the rest of the instructions as normal!

relax man, its a scary process for some people, i would rather have someone ask a stupid question for reassurance than go around saying xda bricked their phone... hell i was even nervous, im just glad i had a test phone.

But when he asks questions like why he gets "'xxx' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

it makes me feel that he shouldn't attempt the hack.
