Right chaps... so, here's the deal, I've done a SIM unlocker for the Sedna, if you want your device sorted, click this link:

Now... this also contains Hard-SPL; if you *DON'T* need a sim unlock, then just wait as I will be releasing the Hard-SPL here anyway.

we are receiving P6500 next week

When you say it's for Sedna,do you mean p6500 or p6550? Some call the
P6500 the 'Sirius' so I just want to check first. I have a P6500.

Right, so does this thing invalidate one's warranty?

that depends really... mainly on how badly you break the device.

if you don't break it badly enough to stop you from overwriting the Hard-SPL manually then you just replace it before RMA.

if you can't do that, it's unlikely they'll be able to discern you Hard-SPLd it

Does the SIM unlock still work if you overwrite the Hard-SPL?

Does the very fact of unlocking with this program affect the warranty?

yes, it works indefinitely no matter what you do.
