Give http://http://dashwire.com/ Dashwire a try..it's a free application mirroring your phone contents to web storage.

the sim manager is in the "accessories" folder (at least it is in wm6.1, I think it was the same in 6.0). There's an option in there that'll let you choose what contacts you want to put on the sim. Not sure how many numbers a sim card can hold tho.

Not sure either but i think is 30 or 50 massages can be stored on sim. Dashwire is much better

wow. I just realized that I completely went off on the wrong track here. I started talking about contacts >< oops...

anyway in 6.1 you can select a message and hit menu and it'll give you the option to save it to your sim.

Hey just joined the site as a member and wanted to make a couple of comments. Thanks for all of the positive feeback! In terms of saving text messages, dashwire is nice because it allows you to save all messages on the web service for free, and control them that way, either searching through or deleting, etc. And there's no max in terms of number of saved messages.

Works with Windows Mobile 5.0 and 6 users.

Because we're new, any feeback or questions would be appreciated.

Wow... thats a alot of messages. With the kind of volume you might be overburdening the system. Before you sync with Dashwire, delete some of the messages on your device that may have already been uploaded (if you have any). We haven't found a max limit on the number of text messages stored, so you should be fine. Let us know if you have any other questions...
