Default HTC YouTube from Diamond And Opal.Jade

I have been playing around trying to get the HTC YouTube app from the Diamond ROM to work on other devices. Some zips are attached for others to test and work on.

The QVGA version is just the same as the VGA version but with all the PNG's resized down by 50%. It loads on my Kaiser but doesn't work properly as it's for VGA!

The VGA version should/might work on a HTC VGA device, can someone test it?

You need to put all the files into \Windows on the device as the paths are hardcoded in the code. Then click on the YouTube.exe to start.

[Mod/Noonski Edit]
Miles been away a bit on this thread, but he did start the quest for a QVGA version of YouTube (and eventually made one himself). I have attached it here now, so this can have the dedicated thread it deserves. The Cab Was Made From Files Out of th New Touch Opal/Jade.
Attached Files
File Type: zip HTCYouTubeQVGA.zip (952.3 KB, 7291 views)
File Type: zip HTCYouTubeVGA.zip (1.68 MB, 5816 views)
File Type: cab HTCYouTubeQVGA-Official.cab (1.97 MB, 12062 views)

seems to start OK, says "downloading" and then crashes to desktop i think because of not enough memory.
UNIversal with wm6.1 20mb ram free.
these new Diamond apps are more memory sucking than ever...
