To save having loads of new threads for Diamond Apps, I've created this one!

I'm currently working on converting VGA apps to QVGA screens, but every app that people have got working could be uploaded and a link placed here.

Please specify whether it's for VGA or QVGA, and also state whether you've tested it!

Little Things...
In all of the Diamond OEM/SYS Packs, the initflashfiles.txt has been replaced by a provisioning xml file and a new exe!

The exe is in the OEMDrivers package and is called "AutoShortcut.exe"

It looks for any string values stored under

HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\AutoShortcut

in the format:

 xml:
<parm name="ResultantLocation+filename.extension" value="CurrentFilename.Extension" datatype="string" translation="install"/>
eg:
<wap-provisioningdoc>
    <characteristic type="Registry">
        <characteristic type="HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\AutoShortcut">
            <parm name="\Windows\DefaultExtension.dll" value="DefaultExtension.0409.dll" datatype="string" translation="install"/>
        </characteristic>
    </characteristic>
</wap-provisioningdoc>


RGU/REG:
"ResultantFileLocation+FileName.Extension"="CurrentFilename.Extension"

eg:
"\Windows\DefaultExtension.dll"="DefaultExtension.0409.dll"

The current file is assumed to be in \Windows, so no path is needed there, only the file name.

To convert this into initflashfiles, you need to know the current file name, and teh resultant file name and path.

Directory("DESTINATION FOLDER"):-File("DESIRED FILENAME","FILE SOURCE")

So, for the dll above, it would be:

 Directory("\Windows"):-File("DefaultExtension.dll","\Windows\DefaultExtension.409.dll")

You can add the file I've posted in Prophet section (FileAttribute)

I have a Wizard running wm6.1 QVGA. How do I install the Random Access. I downloaded the files but don't see a cab.

Maybe it's a OEM Package and not a cab file.

ATM, they're all OEM packs. I'll work on cabs when I've got as much as I can working as OEM packs.
