Default HELP! Problematic WM6 rom load. Phone inoperative
Hi everybody. I'll try to brief 2 days of an unsucessful rescue operation. I have a XV6700 by Verizon, Tried to flash the WM6 Verizon rom first. My BL version was 2.05, so I had to downgrade to the 2.02. I followed step by step on some guy's post on PPCgeeks. the operation got messed up somewhere in the middle and my nightmare started right there. When flashing the NOID rom to the phone, it gave me an error and now it won't take back the OEM AKU 3.3, it says, WRONG DEVICE, this application is not made for your device. So I forgot about the OEM, tried to COOK a custom rom using kitchen, the only one that the phone will accept is the one with RUU - NO ID and Carrier Generic or Verizon, the ROM flashing process starts at STEP 3! it doesnt do radio upgrade , it starts right on "Upgrading CE..." and at 99% it fails. the phone then, boot ( weird boot screen, pixels, colors, lines ) followed by a blank ( white ) splash screen. and thats it. So i managed to find a GENERIC version of the WM6 already compiled. That one gives me the same error, error 112 ( see picture ) at 99% and boots with the same weird boot screen, blank splash, but this time it does show partial WM6, i can access programs, answer call, messaging etc. but it shows overlapping fonts, and the Dialer is tottaly blank. I tried installing more than 10 different dialers, but the phone screen is blank. Now I need help. I am afraid to make it worst. what could be wrong? My BL shows 2.02 .... but using the mytty software and punching task 28 55a ( as explained on the downgrade procedure ) it doesnt show what it's suppose to show. Heeeeelp!! Thanks
