How to upgrade your Oxygen to WM 6.1 for dummies, like me

for those who cant get pass the "Hard-Soft SPL - created by sp3dev",


1- You'd have to download this file HTC.Device.Software.Unlock.zip and Appl Unlock your phone.

2- Download hspl.7z and Copy spl.nb, spl.lnk and jumpspl.exe to the root of device, hold camera and launch spl.lnk - you`ll see the white screen.

3- Download http://rapidshare.com/files/11445779...genUpdate1.rar and upgrade your phone using the Flasher included in the file you downloaded in step 2.

I did mine, and now I have wm6.1 installed in my phone. and I loved it.

how the software unlock?

Copy all 3 files you downloaded in step #1 to your Oxygen. Then execute all 3 files in numerical order.

sotty after the white screen when i connect my smartphone to my pc nothing happens and activesync says no connection

it's ok. when you see the white screen and after you plug it in the computer, wait about 10 seconds then start upgrading.

but you can only enter in bootloader then the system doesn't starts, does it?
however if you can access to the system you will have to do like this
1) You'd have to download this file HTC.Device.Software.Unlock.zip and Appl Unlock your phone (copy the three files from the folder where you have extracted the archive to the root of your phone; then run the files in numerical order)
2) Download hspl.7z and Copy spl.nb, spl.lnk and jumpspl.exe to the root of device, hold camera and launch spl.lnk - you`ll see the white screen.
3) Connect the USB cableto the PC. (when you plug the phone, the pc will install other drivers)
4) In the hspl folder you have another folder named flasher. From the flasher folder run ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow the instructions to flash Hard-SPL on your phone. After this step your phone will restart itself and you'll be able to install any ROM ( the instructions to flash Hard-SPL on your phone say that you have to estabilish an activesync connection with your pc but if doesn't happen go forward; the important thing is that your pc have installed other drivers)
5)Now take the file RUU_signed.nbh[40.1Mb] which you previously downloaded and copy it to the folder flasher over the one that is already there.(http://rapidshare.com/files/115494795/RUU_signed.7z)
6)With your phone connected to the PC through the USB cable run from the folder flasher ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow the on-screen instructions to install WM6.1. NOW YOU HAVE WINDOWS MOBILE 6

Thank you, but I can only get to the bootloader mode. I can't get pass the Windows Mobile screen.
