Default Editing android img files

I had asked the question about recompiling or editing existing android img files a few days ago and didnt get any sort of reply. I came acrossed this today and thought some might find it useful. Hopefully this post isnt redundant from somewhere in this 300+ page post. I search with all the keywords I could think of with no answer.

There is no info as to who wrote the guide so I can't give credit where its due. If anyone knows please let me know.

Edit: Found this PDF link explaining in extreme detail embedded linux kernel and drivers. Lots related to ARM boards and drivers. http://free-electrons.com/doc/embedd...nd_drivers.pdf

Maybe it would be nice to have something I've used long time ago.. SVN repository (which I allready offered to the community) and automatical Nightly builds (cronned compilation) that automaticcaly puts all new things and created test build every midnight.

what do you think about that?

You don't need another repository, you've got already the GIT (equivalent to subversion). However, it would be helpful a continuous integration/nightly build process that would build and make available the whole stuff. You can use several different tools for that, like cruise control, hudson or anthill.
I could probably set this up, once I get to know the whole process of building, but I'm going to brazil (my home country) for 3 weeks in the beach
Maybe in the way back!!! :P

See ya

Can some one upload this to Rapidshare or something similar, as I can't read Russian and Google translate isn't working very well! Thanks!

Well the thing with SVN was cause I was not aware of the GIT, and what I wanted to say was not about the repo, but abut autoBuilds.
