Default My Noobiness is showing -- Burning Rom

I know this is going to show me for the noob that I am, and it's probably on the first page in bold letters somewhere, BUT I haven't found this answer.

My Tilt is a company phone, so if I burn the ROM, is there a way to put it back
to the original default AT&T stuff if I had to?

Thanks

Unfortunately you have posted your question in a thread that has nothing to do with ROM's (Yet! ) Try posting in the Flashing for newbs section! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=433835

You're right, it does.

If you're talking about Android -- the releases packaged in the ZIP are not actual ROMs, but the image files and a bootloader-like-utility (Haret). You keep your ROM on your phone, this doesn't currently overwrite your ROM. However when you run Haret, it knocks WinMo out of memory and loads Android into memory. When you do a soft reset or shut down your phone in Android, and boot your phone back up, then it's back to the WinMo you had before.

Default Exchange

Has anyone been able to sync their Android Kaiser to an exchange server?

AFAIK, Android doesn't natively support MS Exchange protocol for its mailer.

However, 3rd parties are developing MS Exchange compatible clients, e.g. NitroDesk, Aardvark and others (presumably). At least in NitroDesk's case, it will sync contacts, email and calendar. When WiFi is working and I have a full Exchange client working, it is Bye-Bye WinMo.

Willie

OOPS - this isn't technically development related, at least for the developers in this thread. Mea culpa!

And alas, Nitro's Touchdown isn't fully operational with our current release of Android. When I try to set it up, the tabs are enormous, taking away any space to put in the information for setup.

Unhappy Lines on the display after powersafe

So I tested all the releases up since 2-1, only the 2-1 did not do that, all the others went nicely to powersafe but waking them up lead to lines on the display, sometimes I was able to see that the apps was running fine under that. It seems like some graphic driver missbehaviour to me, but I am not sure..

Can anyone confirm, or am I really the only one having that issue?

Thanx for any info...
Primary Phone: HTC Desire Z (alias Vision)
HBOOT: 0.85.0013
Radio: 26.10.04.03_M

I haven't experienced this with any of the releases at all.

I would try to possible flash another radio, or use another sd card. Not why sd card would matter, but their aren't too many other things I could think of that could effect just you but not anyone else.

Just to be sure, you are replacing all of the files when you start a new release correct, not keeping the data.img or anything else?
