Own files on a storage card but didn't have this problem with stock WM5 or Ebag's WM6 full...

Is it in a folder named My Ringtones?
Try that and see if it doesnt help. I have intermittingly run into this problem with alot of "smartphones" and different roms...

I am using Phonealarm...does that make any difference? And can this "My Ringtones" folder be on the SD card?

Yes, and yes to both questions
I have had mixed results using any kind of ringtone or alarm programs on any of my smartphones...

How about TreoAlert? I want some kind of LED alert/profile program...worth a try?

can someone tell me how to get mms working on verizon? i have tried everything i know how including installing the latest arcsoft and manually changing all the server settings...will not recieve any and phone freezes when i try to create one

Treo Alert Pro works very well
Only drawback is if you want to get it completely off of your phone u must hard reset...
But very hand program to have and use...

I had it working on mine using the Beta 8 build. The only instructions I can offer you, unfortunately, is to hard reset, install GC's ArcSoft for Verizon from here, and make the updates I mentioned earlier in the thread. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what else you can do.

awesome i think this afternoon i will upgrade from beta 9 to 11 and try that reg hack...hopefully that will work but thanks for the info...searched the web for 3 hours last night and never saw that
