Touch Diamond seems sluggish

I got my TD today and I love its form factor but is it just me or is it pitifully slow. It seems to speed up and slow down randomly. I tried it against my Touch Cruise (supposedly slower) and the TC was much more snappy and responsive.

I think this little chap is going to be winging its way back to Expansys before the week is out. Shame though because its size is just great.
