Diamond battery

Guys, I have heard a *rumor* that there will be a bigger capacity battery for Diamond, is this something *true*?

And I am wondering if the bettery life will be shortened by always connecting it to the PC. I actually connect my Diamond with notebook for most of the time I am in the office. Dont know if this will do harm to the battery.

There is a bigger battery available as an extra I think - that's probably what you've heard about. It requires a different back part for the phone though.

The Touch Diamond will charge off any computer it is connected to, so that will be good for its battery and bad for the computers battery if you're running off that.

I believe (so I've heard) that the extended battery will be a 1350 mAh one sold with a new back to take it.

Yes there will be an optional larger cap battery. Don't know what size though. It does require a larger back cover (think you will get it with the battery).

If it is a 1350 then there's a possibility that it's the touch Pro's standard battery. But that's just speculation.
