For Newbies - "Diamond is slow as crap"

Just to save you some time....do this out of the box...then start the rest of the tweak journey.....

1) Download this Configuration App & Install on your phone - http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...2&d=1202399126
2) Use the app to do the following modifications: File system cache to 8mb and file system filter cache to 131072
3) DO NOT install Google Maps (your phone will be fast after #2 but will slow down again after you install GM (Java runtime's the issue)
4) Don't configure WIFI for "Best Performance"....leave it as "Best Battery"....there's a bug and it will literally drain your battery in a short time and you'll wonder what happened when your phone shuts off...

....the rest of the geniuses on this forum have the rest of the info...but if you don't do the above...you'll be listing your phone on ebay like I did....only to realize it's actually a decent device. :)
