Default Xperia lags video drivers as well!!!

Buyer beware I just received an email from a good friend of mine stating he had the opportunity to test the xperia and he states it is slower than the tytnII. This shall be interesting.

the x1's and it's rom is not released yet how it will perform in q4 when it does one can only guess

Well i wouldnt be surprised by your friends claim seeing as the unit isnt even in final production. One of my friends has played with a pre-production unit and said the same thing but also said that he is pretty damn sure that when the final retail unit is out...it will be perfectly fine.

many new PDA lack of video and 2d acceleration, if Sony taking seriously they should make open /sdk driver,

I finally just received confirmation that the device he messed around with was the pre-production unit as well. Sorry for posting anything misleading I often jump ahead of myself when I get excited.

Its nothing misleading, its a fact, i have 2 of the units and the playback is more than slow, its slower than the the tytn II i can tell..maybe when the rom are out..
