Smile IGo 2008 in sharp VGA resolution on Diamond

sys.txt

[folders]
app="Internal Storage\igo8"
sdcardapp="Internal Storage\igo8"
sdcardpath="\Interal Storage"
data="\Internal Storage\igo8"
content="\Internal Storage\igo8\content"
texture="\Internal Storage\igo8\content"
save="\Internal Storage\igo8\save"
data="\Internal Storage\igo8"
content="\Internal Storage\igo8\content"
texture="\Internal Storage\igo8\content"
save="\Internal Storage\igo8\save"
custom="\Internal Storage\igo8\custom"

[interface]
skin="ui_igo8"
resolution_dir="320_240"
vga=1

[rawdisplay]
class="landscape"

[debug]
skip_eula=1
enable_roadshadow=1

[map]
auto_nightmode=0

[msnd]
msnd.start=0

-----eof---

the bitmap gfx in the ui is only 320x240,
but the text is clear 640x480.
the map is 640x480 ultra sharp, too.

i rode that 640x480 bitmap gfx will not released by the manufacturer in the next time.
but a gfx kiddy (theme freak) can skin the grafix located in the data.zip, and save it to
data.zip/ui_igo8/480_640
(i hope. :) it is the logical result of the infrastructure of the data.zip)
but its a o lot of pixeling :)))

Yep.. Looks a lot sharper.

Personally, I removed the VGA=1 string. This makes the display buildup a little too slow to my liking.. Otherwise, Nice!

Are you using the newest version 41xxx? The older ones don't work on the Diamond.

iGO8 runs nicely on my Diamond - but it refuses to find any GPS satellites. Used autodetection to locate phone's internal GPS and that worked fine, but either the GPS is not working or iGO8 doesn't really talk to it, despite claiming otherwise. Spent some 15 minutes on the yard just now, waiting for the phone to find some satellites, but no luck.
Bye bye Diamond, hello Hero.
