Ne one knows how to make Garmin XT see the onboard GPS hardware???

If I'm not wrong Garmin has an automatic search for GPS hardware function. That failing, just go to the settings in Garmin and indicate GPS is on COM4.

And just one question about the GPS : we must let 4800 bds or we can change the speed ?? In that case what is the best speed ??
