Efbiaye's VGA Diamond Theme 1.0.2 (February, 2nd) - SPB MS 2.1 (not upscaled!)

Hello ev1,

Since I was not satisfied with any existing VGA themes (most of which were upscaled from QVGA) I decided to do my own Diamond theme.

I tried to be pretty accurate while doing this theme, all icons, backgrounds etc. were prepared from the scratch by me, basing on numerous screenshots from Diamond TF3D.

I tested it over a week before releasing it to the public now. However, since I'm pretty busy with my day-to-day life, I don't plan to make any major changes to this theme, unless you discover some bugs.

Over 5000 downloads later, finally long awaited update! Comments for 1.0.2 version begin here.

v1.0.2 (February, 2nd 2009):
- additional (optional) layout configuration:
Layout C1 (based on Greatball's Diamond 1.2 layout C) - one contact page (for three contact pages use Layout C3)
- additional Porgrams buttons - GAMES and ACTIVE TASKS (necessery reg files included, all layouts are updated for this feature)

v1.0.1 (July, 31st 2008):
- additional (optional) layout configuration:
Layout B (based on Greatball's Diamond 1.2 layout B) - includes: Most Recent Used (MRU) tab - gesture switchable with Programmes tab; 3 contact pages;
Layout C3 (based on Greatball's Diamond 1.2 layout C3 Contact Pages) - similar to above but has no MRU page.

v1.0.0 (July, 28th 2008):
- full portrait and landscape support,
- every graphic (except for big weather icons) prepared from scratch for native VGA resolution.


Additional credits:
- layout based on Greatball's Diamond 1.2 Layout B and C3 (3 contacts pages) theme,
- QVGA to VGA theme conversion method by Mtkates,
- big weather icons were fractally upscaled from Greatball's new weather icon set used in 1.1 version of his theme,
- HTC for creating TF3D GUI.

Installation notes:
- backup your device/SPB MS dir,
- select desired layout,
- replace all files in your SPB MS dir with the files from my theme archive,
- if you wish to have GAMES and ACTIVE TASKS buttons in Programs tab, edit, according to the included instructions, and import necessery reg files on your mobile device (reg files are included in the package),
- restart your device,
- enjoy the theme.

Additional notes:
- the "Bigger photos in contact page by markfdr" mod will probably not work with C1 layout, as I used my original files,
- please note, that I have not tested the theme with latest SPB MS 2.1.4 build, so it may not work 100% correctly with it,
- I have noticed one or two people in some other boards crediting them selves for my theme... I MEAN COME ON, YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY A FRACKING CENT FOR IT AND YET YOU CLAIM IT'S YOURS!?
- If anyone wants to post it somewhere else, please include original link to this post, the same goes for other elements from this theme,
- as soon as clean my source .PSD files, I will release a pack of those, for people who would like to use the elements for other themes.

Todo:
- different background alternatives,
- weather icons prepared from original diamond weather graphic elements (VGA)

If someone can help me with the two above, it would be nice

   markfdr was so kind and prepared a mod of the contact page which enlarges the thumbnails of your favourite contacts. Perfect for people with smaller VGA screens.

You might make a link on the Diamond general thread as some people would certainlu like to switch (back) to SPB with a nice GUI as you made.
