ok i gotta admit im still confused.

when you try to dial into internet, it says that the line is busy and wont connect?

it looks like you're connected right there though.

so the only reason you can't dial a phone call is because your internet connection is active. is that right?

the gps activates the internet in order to download maps and similar things.

If I understand, you are not able to dial your phone while GPS/Internet is on?
This is because it is a CDMA phone, which uses EVDO for data and 1X for phone communications - meaning - internet and a phone conversation cannot be done at the same time.
