Default Exchange 2007 + WM6.1

After experiencing problems with multiple roms, I thought I'd open a thread. At issue is whether or not some ROMs are compatible with Exchange '07. If you respond please post your ROM versions as well.

A little history...
I had the IT department switch me over to Exchange 2007 from 2003, for HTML email feature.
(Running Dutty's April 29th (Dutty's WM6.1 Hybrid v2 5.2.19716/5.2.19700) and radio 1.64.06.04), Activesync kept giving an error: 0x85010013. Microsoft said that error code doesn't even exist. LOL

-Tried updating radio to 1.65.14.06, no effect.
-Installed Garmin.DK.2 WM 6.1 Premium (CE OS 5.2.20226 BUILD 20226.1.1.1), no effect.
-Installed old Dutty's WM6.1 5.2.19209 Release (April 16th).
At this point, I thought it was a problem with WM6.1 ROMs.
-Installed Sleuth 1.2 (Feb 6th) as Dutty 6.0s weren't available anymore. (radio 1.27)
Exchange worked, but obviously the ROM wasn't 6.1.
-Upgraded to AT&T test rom 3.14.501.1 (Radio 1.65.14.06), works as well.

I've had Microsoft open a case for this, but after getting it working with this ROM I closed the ticket. I'd really like to switch over to Dutty's or DK2 or another cooked ROM, but has anyone else seen this? At this point I'm thinking it's either the main ROM or the radio.

I've had the same problem...I'm using Gullum's Diamond Rom and it won't let me sync with exchange either.

Yes, imported the certs and also had them open non-SSL, same error.

I have no problems syncing with Exchange 2007 SP1 using L26's June 25th rom and radio 1.71.09.01.
I Don't remember ever having a problem with any cooked rom i have installed on my XDA Stellar and mail-sync.
All i have had to do is install a certificate on my pda and it has worked fine.
can you ping your mail-server's FQDN from the handset over GPRS and USB? (pocket ping is a free download to try this)
Do you get this error when it is connected via USB as well as wireless?

I have used Dutty's 16th and 29th, and Hyperdragon III 14th and now am on 25th. I've never had a problem with activesync with my Exchange 2007 server. that Activesync error is in fact a "real error" and it equates to "An HTTP communication or protocol error occurred."

If I had to guess, there is a slight difference in your cellular data settings . Since you can't go back now, or probably don't want to, I'd ensure that the problem didn't happen with straight wifi with your cellular phone data shut off. It sounds more like a protocol routing problem over your phone data connection.

I had the same problem but our one of our Exchange got me up and going. There is a problem with some of the newer ROMs that doesn't allow the assignment of the "Remote Wipe" function from Exchange. He put my mobile account into a policy group that did not implement that feature and everything went back to working. Microsoft provided the work around to him, and he's waiting on a patch so they can move me back to the other group that requires the remote wipe.

Interesting. What radio ROM did you use on Dutty? I didn't have Hyperdragon with Exch2007 so I can't correlate. I did check the settings, in fact they were the same settings which worked flawlessly with 2003. I don't mind trying it out again, but I don't see what would have changed. Maybe some corrupt mailbox data?

I used several radios, original ATT to several in 1.64, now with hyperdragon III 25th I'm using 1.58.25.17. I'd be 99% sure your issue doesn't have anything to do with a radio however... coming from a MCSE background with Exchange 5.5-2003 certification, not wireless expertise though
