Because Microsoft stopped distributing their expenses tool and I don't like the alternatives I have seen, I have programmed a little thing myself.

You can modify the values shown in the lists in order to fit your wishes. Option to export to tab-separated text file for importing in Excel or other program.

v0.95.0 (15-11-2009)

• Added currency exchange rates (manual rate entry).
• Added totals per expense type, intended source and payment method to the info and totals screen.
• Improved editing of currencies (including exchange rates), expense types, intended sources and payment methods in options dialog.
• Added possibility to hide columns.
• Added new column with amount converted to primary currency (hidden by default).
• Showing of converted currencies at various places in the program, including the info and totals screen.
• Added 'Custom' to expense type choices. This will give a blank edit box which can be filled in manually.

• Improved sorting
• Changed default setting file location to install path
• Fixed some other small things

v0.94.4 (2-4-2009)

• Second attempt to fix this bug.

v0.94.3 (1-4-2009)

• Fixed a bug introduced in 0.94.2 that crashes program on first run after a fresh installation.

v0.94.2 (31-3-2009)

• Added options to open/save database files. This makes it possible to use multiple databases.
• Changed default database file extension from .txt to .eef (the file format is kept unchanged).

v0.94.1 (24-3-2009)

• Added exit button to menu.
• Improved item selection in main expense list.

v0.94.0 (7-2-2009)

• New database format. Easier to edit (with Excel or a text editor) and smaller. The old database will be converted to the new format on the first run. Afterwards you can delete the old file (EasyExpensesData.ini).
• Added receipt management: every expense item can have a receipt. Receipt numbers automatically increase for each new item, but can also be modified manually.
• Added reverse order sorting.
• Added command line parameter for data folder: when an existing folder path is used as a command line parameter (in a shortcut), this folder will be used as the database location. This can be usefull when using more than one database on the same device. You should copy EasyExpensesDefaults.ini to this location manually.

Okay, here are some feature requests:

• Multilanguage
• Categories and Subcategories
• Monthly or a specific time period overview about costs
• Gains & costs
• Ability to change the order of rows

Nice and simple, but maybe too simple

Very nice though for a start, this should come in handy as I'm traveling soon. Will test a bit and let you know further.

nice tool
for your next release can you add a total to the list and maybe the posibility to change the location of the database files (a reg value would be best)?
I, as a lot of users, constantly hard reset or upgrade my htc, so it would be nice to have a folder on my sdcard, that would hold all the information this program saves.

What do you exactly mean by this? I think you can just use negative values to add gains. I will add a grand total in the next version. Subtotals may be later.
