It is for real. Check out the specifications on the main htc website
it says exactly the same thing. The Europe/Asia version will work on Verizon, but you won't be able to get WCDMA speeds. The US version has 850/1900 WCDMA, whereas the Europe/Asia version as mentioned on the HTC site has 900/2100. Would be nice if they could make one with all 4 WCDMA's
I have definitely seen some sites that claim the Touch Pro is only Tri-Band, but the HTC site would be the one to go by seeing as they made it an all
