Message center broken: deleted sms in deleted mail!

Now this is strange.... My message center is broken. Both pop-mail accounts dissapeared, the outlook-exchange mail is lost, the sms-messages are gone.

* contacts DO synchronise correctly
* Agenda DOES sync ok

Deleting server-settings from active sync, and rebuilding it makes outlook-exchange work again. Pop-accounts can be restored by hand, but the next day it's gone again. All of it.

After restoring server-settings by active-sync:

* Deleted new SMS message goes in deleted MAIL items of Outlook account!!

WTF? How is this possible?
Or rather: what is the solution?
