Internet sharing option menu

Hello everybody !

Anybody know how i can add an option to the menu which appears when i connect my phone to my pc through usb to share my internet connection ?

I would like to have a menu as this one :



Mine doesn't have the internet sharing option.

Do you have the latest firmware... 1.93 has it for shure, and 1.37 i don't know but i quess not!

I'm using WIFTBL WWE DIAMOND ROM V6.0 which is based on the 1.93.405.1 UK WWE.

May be an option can make this menu appears ?

I'm using original HTC ROM 1.93.479.3 WWE and I don't have the Internet sharing option too. It's possible to live without it but it would be nice to have the third option on the screen.

We need the USBtoPCblablabla.CAB, im looking for this cab, weeks ago but i cant find it in the search...

If anyone have it, plz post it :P

thanks for your aswer, i've found some in the SwiftBL ROM forum - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=408109 , the file name is SPC-Enlarged StartMenu+USBConnect.cab.
It works fine, fully unintallable

I have tried it too last weekend and the big disadvantage is that it only works on English versions. At least that means on localized diamonds the 3rd option will be there, but there is no text next to the option. It does work however.

It would be nice if someone would make localized versions for this application, but without the Enlarged Start Menu.

Btw...it's the HTCUSBToPCPopUp.exe.0413.mui file that needs to be translated and when I compare the HTCUSBToPCPopUp.exe.0413.mui which is on my Dutch diamond to the HTCUSBToPCPopUp.exe.0409.mui which is in the cab of the Swift rom, the HTCUSBToPCPopUp.exe.0409.mui has some extra lines to. I managed to translate the file, but it can't be installed on my diamond for some reason.

So If someone could make this work....Dutch and English version are attached...just in case

I actually wanted this option to... But it isnt really needed because you can start internet sharing via the programs folder. thats just one click farer away but it works

i've prepared archive just USBToPCPopUp version 2_0_18172128_1, no enlarge menu. now it's english only (mui 0409).
