HTC Weather to auto-update when docked?

HTC can get the QuickGPS app to auto-update when docked, but not the Weather app which needs to be manually activated. Anything we can do about this?

Haven't found a slution yet too :(

You can get it to auto update by going to the weather tab in TF3D-> menu->settings

then check the box "Download weather automatically"

Ok but then it will try to connect with data connection and not with activesync...
Can we set a priority so that it first try with activesync??

I've searching this for few months already, still can't fix that yet...

I am not sure but when I connect my diamond up to the pc it uses the pc's internet connection and not the phones data connection.

Maybe its something to do with the ROM? im using Duttys 1.8 btw

i would hope to fix that too, cos i don't have any data connection... so... yeah

My phone automatically uses the AS connection when connected for Weather but only when I go to the weather tab and update automatically is set. If I turn off the update auto setting and manually update with it connected it still uses AS and not my data connection.

It doesn't download in the background without going to the weather tab first. I think it would be better if it worked like QuickGPS and tries to download updates when it detects AS connection without having to go to the weather tab. I wish you could do that for email and any other program that uses the web to update.

Is there a tool in the meantime? Agree, it should work like the QuickGPS function...
