I had the x7500 before this, but I sol it and got a Kaiser before Athena Project was released. From what Ive read the Athena Project made the device much faster and more usable. I now have the x7510, maybe if could flash one of the project ROM's it would make the device better and the wait easier. Right now x7500 ROM's are flashable to the x7510, but the flash disk stops working. Hope they solve that.

3-4 years ago i asked in a thread for a 5' PDA, HTC listened and answered. what they failed to notice in the same thread is that I also asked for 24bit color screen. i think it's about time now. maybe they need a more powerful CPU and a larger battery to drive that, but whatever, just gimme gimme gimme@!

TV out (or a similar feature that allows me to connect to a projector) is my must have feature. With it, I can travel will my Advantage and my new Dell pocket projector and give presentations without having to travel with a laptop.

Do any of the pipeline items have that ability? I could go to the 3.8" screen, but not smaller.

I think this is the Athena replacement:
http://www.htc.com/www/product/max4g/overview.html

It has everything that the Athena has, but it has dropped the stupid keyboard.

OH, so what is Pawel talking about? The Touch HD and Max are effectively 4" screens.

If there is a 5" wide screen to come out, I hope that there is some sort of announcement at CES...

What I meant is that the Max 4G is a varient of the touch HD for the Russian market

Pawel has said the device isn't announced yet, so not really much point guessing.

The "stupid keyboard" is the whole point of the Athena for many of us !
