I agree that R0 is amazing.. but unfortunatly we can't put hebrew on it or i'd be using it.
i did switch to R8 and omnia drivers.. running my diamond setup of ultimate launch... will try running manila 2d but as far as i know hebrew screws it up as well.
my polaris is like 1.5 faster than it was when i had the original rom.

cheers

I'm addressing israelies here, and would like to ask if anyone knows if PDAC or EYRON for WM6/WM6.1 work on roms other than the official WM6 rom for polaris. I'm using leng, and until now the ONLY rom which had no trouble merging with the LENg interface was the official one. other than that each and every rom i've tried gets stuck, or loads without text... and so forth.
If PDAC or EYRON work on other roms i'd just purchase one of them.

thanks
Hi there,
Why u not cocking ur own ROM and have ur native language in it?
It will be easier to u and may be without that software EYRON.

Well, we certainly will if you tell us how to add bidi support to WM6/WM6.1 without those nasty programs.

Supporting Hebrew isn't just a matter of fonts, the main problem is the missing bidi support at the OS level. This is also the case with other RTL languages, such as Arabic.

Default R0 UDK

as far as my work goes to...
when installed udk's syrious r0 with pdac hebrew and Igo8 the work is amazing although no 3d drivers the device works amazing fast and very comfortable.
the one problem I am having is the lack of a good keyboard - I dont
like resco (sorry )
the lack of 3g graphics is almost unfelt by my use of the phone since the main
cause of the phone is e-mail.
never used "leng" but it seems to be to young to give pdac and eyron.
Back to good old Polaris
Now using UDK's amazing rom
SYRIUS R0
And a quote from "The Goonies":
Andy: I can't tell... if it's an "A sharp" or if it's a "B flat"!
Mikey: Heh, if you hit the wrong note, we'll all "B flat!"

well, the problem with PDAC and EYRON is that it costs like 2 weeks or food. i'm trying to avoid buying them by editting registry strings.. which seems more reasonable in my eyes. and assuming lots of israelies are using LENg, maybe we can fashion everything we need.

Have you tried to open MUI files & rewrite them?
Open : Camera.exe.0409.mui in PE Explorer and doing RESOURCE EDITOR, so you can change the language; but remember DO NOT CHANGE Camera.exe.0409.mui NAME, JUST OPEN IT, write and SAVE it with the same name inside your OEM. I have tried with my native language and get it working. I knwo this way is very difficult and not easy but you are doing only one time and will be forever.
There are other Resource hacking programs and can try them.

Mui files have nothing to do with Hebrew support. Note that all we want is Hebrew support, not Hebrew localization. This means, we want to keep all program interfaces in English, yet have an ability to read/write Hebrew in any application, while translatig the mui resources won't do any good for this. On most of the languages this is as simple as adding an appropriate font (if not already there) and some kind of input method to type in that language. In Hebrew case it's more complicated, because WM6 is missing bidi support, that is required to properly display an RTL language. Without it the Hebrew (or any other RTL language, such as Arabic) is simply reversed, making it barely readable. The Eyron, PDAC and Leng mentioned here actually provide this bidi support, thats the main reason those programs are currently needed to support Hebrew.

Here is a wiki page with some generic info and link related to bidi.
