Hi,

Thank you for responding. Have already mentioned in my earlier post, but here goes again. I want to make the pagepool dynamic to use ram as required. Have done the same for my friends Touch and it has become much more responsive and crisper. Please help me with what I should search in the rom and change to make the pagepool 0. Wanna test how this works with the blueangel.

Francis

at the start when ppl started to cook WM5 rom for BA, the device was slow and very irresponsive. later on, a senior member here found a way to boost the pagepool to make BA much more responsive. a dynamic papge pool would be superb, but this is a first time I heard about it.

if you wanna know how to change pagepool size, you need to search for quite old posts in this forum, you will need to hex-edit the cook image.

found it http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...light=pagepool

Default Thanks!

Hope you can release a clean AKU 1.4.1 WWE Rom =) Great Skin and customization though. As far as i know, your ROM build is always ahead of the others.

hello imatrix,

Thanks for responding. As you correctly said the blueangels were slow earlier, cause even then the pagepool was of a fixed size and a very small size. Increasing it definitely led to a speed boost, but again it is a fixed size. If it is made dynamic, the device can use pagepool upto the extent of the ram available as and when it requires. cant remember where i read the article on dynamic pagepool for the touch and actually implemented it and it is working extremely well. Thus came up with the idea of experimenting with the same on my BA.

I followed the link you mentioned but cant seem to find the address mentioned therein, on the rom i am using (sundream / swampy). Hence am back to square one, just need the address to go to and the change to be made to make pagepool zero,.

hi, has got any clue why my qtek 9090 is not working any more as a phone when using this rom ? I can not do any call with my 9090 pocketpc anymore with this rom. I really dunno why. With its original rom it works perfectly *also after reflashing it)
Thanks

i had a few lock-ups. Anyway, taskbar is great and the interface is very finger-friendly. i just don't like the way the fonts are rendered and the icons are too compressed. I would really like to have a sun dream basic rom if he will release one. His ROM build is ahead of all others.
