Default Swedish rom i have no transcriber

im using the standard touch diamond with no mods with a 1.93 update from
htc site

i decided today to browse through the manual and on page 88 saw this
Quote:
Transcriber is a handwriting recognition program that enables you to write in cursive, print, or a combination of both.

To write using Transcriber
1. Open a program that accepts user input, such as Word Mobile.
2. Tap the Input Selector arrow and then tap Other Input Methods >
Transcriber. The Transcriber introductory screen appears. Read the
introduction and tap OK.
i dont see any introductry screen, and i dont see any words like
transcribe and or transcriber on my phone.

on page 87
Quote:
To use Letter Recognizer
1. From a program, tap the Input Selector arrow and then tap Other
Input Methods > Letter Recognizer.
2. Write characters, numbers, and symbols in the designated writing
area.
again here i dont see anything with relation to Letter Recognizer.

why are these functions present in the manual but not in the phone ?
where can i download these two functions from to install on my phone ?

thanks

to help make my above post a bit clearer
if you view this blog http://blogs.zdnet.com/mobile-gadgeteer/?p=1172

in bold text near the middle of that page you will see the section header
Video of the phone application and text input methods

at 5:03 in on the video where he shows other input methods his phone as 5 options where mine only have 2
1, options
2, keyboard

i hope this helps

thanks again

Default Download Letter recognizer from smartmobile.se

hi!
Download Letter and block recognizer from smartmobile.se
The patch was built for Qtek 9100 from the beginning, but still works.

That's only block and letter recognizer not the transcriber. I still feel cheated getting only half of what's promised.
