blackstone is my next choice for a phone after having a polaris for a while now.
the problem is that i live in israel and we don't have it here.

I'd like to know if anyone knows where i could buy it but not in a package deal but only the device itself. I'll order it somehow..

Well, it hasn't even been officially released, so wait until its released to start looking to buy it. Most dates that say they will ship aren't so reliable.

Ya I remember the Raphael, that was put back about 5 or 6 times. ended up 4 weeks later than originaly expected

Are HTC doing a big announcement for this phone or are they going to keep it on the DL so that the G1 gets all the publicity and be called an Iphone challenger which it isn't the HD I would consider is.

It HAS been officially released. It was officially released by HTC a couple weeks ago and officially released by O2 in Germany today or yesterday or something. Now, if you mean for sale, it is not for sale yet but will be probably within the week.

who are we looking at for a service provider here in the states?

Probably will start with Sprint as they are the primary carrier of HTC flagship phones. After 30 days or so it will prolly be picked up by AT&T and T-Mobile, then Verizon and Altel.
