Question [30 Sep 08] big Problem with Display light - Display Driver found and attached here

Hi,

i will create a german Rom, but the Display Light is not working, why?

Who is the driver/reg entry for the light?

What can i do?

Base Kitchen is from Anryl (read more)

I was looking for 2 days, i have found him!

I have found the Display Light driver with registy entries.
Now cooking the german rom.

Dont know what you mean by "display light not working" what builds are you testing is it booting actualy where is the display not working and so on more infos please. You could have actualy ask m8

Dude, he means backlight.. screen has no backlight. most likely reg entries need to be translated. sorry i don't know were they are.

I do remember running in to this issue when i was trying to cook a hybrid between WM6.0 and WM6.1. I just cant remember what i did though! For some reason, i think it was shell.exe. Try checking that.

PS: Oh btw, that hybrid is almost impossible to build without stability issues...

on the hybrid, can you keep xip 6.1 and use sys from wm6?? think that would probably work better. or keep service modules as wm6 and all 6.1 files?? i'm interested? ;()

I used XIP, sys, oem from 6.0. But i just wanted to use shell and tmail, and maybe couple of more from WM6.1. It did boot just fine, but darn thing wont stay stable.

I basically wanted to integrate threaded messaging to WM6.0 due to the activesync error i get in WM6.1. Thats why i did that hybrid thing!
