Can you delete random .exe files from WM6?

Just wondering, can you delete Excel.exe for example? As this can free a lot of space.

I never use powerpoint.exe for example, what happens if i delete this? Will the phone crash or is it only that you can;t start the program anymore?

You can't delete files in the ROM. They're in Read Only Memory and thus cannot be deleted. You would have to recook the ROM for this to work.
