Hey everyone just a question does anyone know off a app that will change how loud the vibrate is on our vogues? The blackberrys have a much quiter vibration then we do just a question, i have to put it on silence in class because my teachers always here it vibrate.
There's not really any setting that will change your vibrate "volume". Really the only thing you would be able to do is supply less power to the motor that makes it vibrate. This is probably something hardcoded into the hardware itself, while the software just provides the information for WHEN it should vibrate. I could be wrong, and if I am, awesome! But as far as I can tell, it would take a pretty intensive mod to change the power to that motor. It'd be easier to just disconnect it, but when there's a silent mode sans vibration, there isn't much point.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, or even if you had different ideas! I'm willing to help explore them!
i noticed a couple things in my initial testing that i'd share and see if any1 might know of a fix.
i always flash like this (just 2 be safe) flash stock, let cus. run, put in bootloader, flash custom rom, let cus. run, hard reset.
i noticed in the text messaging tab, if i have a new text, i tap it, it pops up, i start to type and it automaticly uses t9 (i have it off everywhere in settings) also each letter i type is underlined for a few seconds. not a biggie as i installed the finger keyboard and it doesnt happen anymore.
i also noticed (maybe its just me) but the scrolling doesnt seem as responsive. for example if im in the program folder, i normally scroll instead of using the dpad and it doesnt seem 2 want 2, thus making me use dpad. the not wanting to scroll seems on/off. also it seemed to me like the pressure threshold was low (dont know if thats true) but for me i would tap say the start menu, nothing and i would have to tap it agian. just doesnt seem like its picking up on my taps. (i aligned the screen)
so i was hoping sum1 could help me check, maybe my settings/reg., if i could increase the scrolling and pressure.

just to be clear, in no way am i complaining bout your roms, they by far are the best, i'm just merely sharing and asking if i could do sumthing 2 fix it.

Sounds right, I never flash stock, but cant see how it would hurt, as long as the custom is flashed twice all is good

Havent had any issues with text, but then I am not a texting junkie so I couldnt be sure, usually default or mini-qwerty is fine for me unless I really want to type out alot then I would install my SPB Full-Sized KB v4

Scrolling seems fine to me here, although I have noticed a hang for a sec or two now and then, its to be sure is different than in 6.1 and takes a bit getting used to - especially in settings/programs where I just slide my finger up/down along the edge of the screen, seems to work best for me

Try under start>settings>advance configuration - there are some settings there for touch pressure and such, maybe changing it to a higher or lower sensitivity would be better for you
Scrolling seems fine to me here, although I have noticed a hang for a sec or two now and then, its to be sure is different than in 6.1 and takes a bit getting used to - especially in settings/programs where I just slide my finger up/down along the edge of the screen, seems to work best for me

i was on sprint1.11 and didnt ever notice the scrolling not working (on/off) and the pressure. but thats the 1st thing i noticed after flash (hard reset).
sum where i seen a cab for increase touch sensitivity, should i try?
i dont feel to comfortable editing the touch pressure in advanced config. (i tried awhile back and it completely had no touch, had 2 hard reset) any other ideas?
were you previously using GPS on your VZW phone? Should work fine although I have seen some threads of people having issues with GPS and VZW especially those trying to use VerizonNav or Valhalla (havent delt too deep into it though as I am on Sprint)
There are some VZW users using this ROM (assuming you mean the WinMO 6.5 but the WinMO 6.1 is here as well) and if there is issues they have come up with questions and people have been helping them get things sorted out

the sensitivity cab might help ya out but the settings might already be there, it can not hurt trying it though as its going to an identical higher number or nearly identical to it LOL

all gud, but anyways inside advanced config. under HTC touchflo tab, scrolling:enabled; pressure threshold: 25536; finger pressure: 2487; high scrolling speed: 25; low scrolling speed: 70.
but im not having the problem w/ manila (touchflo), its more when i go start menu, programs tab.
F-ing aye, as soon as i go into start menu, programs tab to test it out agian, im able 2 scroll easy in the middle of screen up/down by flickin the finger.
