The aim of this Rom is to give every one the taste of the Opal, So no 3rd party programs added, all Opal.

This rom is 99% Full Port of the Opal Stock - English - 1.26.707.1 ROM

This Rom is ELF & ELFin compatible.

You will find everything in the Opal rom except the Opal XIP and Camera as it does not work on ELFin.

Shavez, are u serious when saying recomended 0 PP ?? i heard lot ppl say 0mb PP is not good. expecially if you have elfin i think you should set 12mb as PP or even more since u have more memory. for elf, i heard 6 is good enough.

I am usin 0 PP and it is working fine on my Elfin ,but you can use any PP you like.

- Flash went ok.
- The first boot after a succesful flash is rather slow (2 to 3 minutes), so please have patience.
- Extended rom install went ok.
- Network wizard detected my Dutch provider and the config went ok.
- Battery status is fixed now!
- Google map search tab is added. Google maps is fast in this release!
- Large statusbar is working now.
- Manila2d.exe is updated so sliding effect is working when pressing a button on the bottom!
- Slider function in call screen is working now!
- And yes, the camera button is working too.
- Synch went ok.
- Wifi is ok. Although the only bug so far is that you can enable/disable Wifi via Communication Manager but not via Settings->Conncetions->Wireless LAN.
- GPRS is ok (including autoconnect, disconnect via statusbar and config via Nodata).
- PIM replacement (vjbrisk) works ok.
- Adding local city to weather works ok (after editing and replacing the HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml file).
- All photo and video functions from the tab work ok. Including zoom and rotation of images and playing captured video's. Best of all, files from the device and from the storage card are detected by default.
- Email (including auto setup) is working ok.
- The Opal Youtube player runs great.
- Tomtom version 7 runs great.
- Bluetooth carkit (Nokia CK-7W) is working ok.

Overall performance is very good. The default pagepool size is 12MB for Elfin and 8MB for Elf (can easily be changed with dsixda's pp changer). Great rom! Actually, I don't know what can be improved at the moment.

I replaced the default analog clock with a digital one. Simply install this cab file I created. Removing this will restore the original analog clock.



To create a shortcut to the backlight manager in Programs edit the following registry key:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila2D\Launcher\[0-17] (button of your choice).
- String Value Dispname, String=Backlight
- String Value Path, String=\Windows\Backlight.lnk
- DWORD type, value=1

There is something wrong with megaupload, it's breaking up a lot error code 905, last time I downloaded the rom with no problems.

I created an alternative download @Mediafire. Download R1 release from Mediafire.
