There is a other program to change contacts and calendar infos?

Hello, today I use Microsoft Outlook, but, these is much large, and I don't like it... my question is: there is other program with I make my appointment and my contacts?

In short, no. I used to use Thunderbird as my mail client, and there is supposedly a way of synchronizing your phone with it, but I could never get it to work. I have since converted back to Outlook. Everything just works much easier (suppose it was made like that ). Contacts, Calendar, Notes and Tasks.
