Calendar Issues.

I have to say I love my G-1 so far but I am having a big problem with the calendar.
1- the recurring options are set, I cant create my own pattern.
2- Calendar remind alert doesnt go off when phone is on flight mode.
I am use to keep my phone on flight mode at work but for some reason my reminder doesn't work. I left my phone on and did work that's when I realized nothing is coming when in flight mode.
Any one else having this issue

Yeah honestly the calendar sucks compared to windows mobile. I woould really like to see my calendar on the homescreen, and when a reminder goes off, the screen should turn on. it should also make more than one noise if their is no response. Also you should be able to set the time you want to snooze for.
