I noticed that the program doesn't remember the settings I changed earlier. Is this just on my phone or hasn't it been implemented in the program that when you set something and close the program, then restart it to not show that setting to be set in the interface?

Furthermore, great program, I like to see it to be extended when new customizable features are discovered.

the tweak no longer starts for me, im guessing this is due to having installed some other app on the handset.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the tweak but it still fails to start,

Pressing the details button gives the following read out

XperiaTweak.exe
NullReferenceExpetion

at XperiaTweak.Main.Main_Load()
at
System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad()
at
System.Windows.Forms.Form._SetVisibleNotify()
at
System.Windows.Forms.Control.set_Visible()
at
System.Windows.Forms.Application.Run()
at XperiaTweak.Program.Main()

Not sure if this gives anyone any idea what happend so a fix can be made. Or if it might let someone see what i've done that caused the error. Either way thought it was better to post the error and just not say.

All the best

Thanks for the app and for keeping it free
Was great untill i killed it

You have to press "Done" and then press "Yes" on the messagebox that appears for any settings to be saved.

I'll try to write some catches in the next release of the software, so hopefully we can sort this out!

Thanks. If I save the settings and immediatly choose to reboot it indeed remembers my settings and they show up the next time I start XperiaTweak. The first time I did save them, but decided to wait with rebooting, apparently the settings weren't applied that time either.

Maybe a suggestion for change regarding this then. When you save the settings, apply the settings even if the user choose not to reboot immediatly. When the phone is rebooted the settings will be active then. This appears not to be the case currently.

Actually, me and him talked on MSN last night and I gave him support immediately! Seems like in some ROMs (in his case, Vodafone UK) the registry-entry SMSNoSentMsg in HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Inbox/ is missing.

I am trying to catch all NullReferenceExceptions in the next version with better feedback of what might be wrong, so hopefully everyone will be available to run it

Thanks for all the work you have put into XperiaTweak...

Just wondering if you are able to put this tweak into it too

Dont want the device to wake up on new SMS ?
It still notifies you with sound/vibrate/LEDs, but the screen will not turn ON

Just add in the below line into the registry location :

[HK_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL]
"DisableSMSWakeUpEvent"=dword:1

Thanks goes to chongbh

Cheers
