near view of x1`s usb connector

i red on the internet, that the x1 will not have tv out capabillitys, and so on.
but when I take a closer look to the x1`s mini usb connector, i see that the backside of the usb connector has got connector plates, too.
that will give space for some hopings. :)))))
htc`s raphael has got tv out, why not the x1? the hardware, including the cam,prozessor, has many parallels :)
