how to change telephone number format?

I know it is in US telephone format (dailing or in contact)
but how can I change to other country format?

Since this thing syncs to google, you may have to set it there... so far for other than US numbers I enter the country code +886, +XX, etc. followed by a space and whatever format I want... seems to 'stick'...most of the time.
