Accelerometer
OK, so our device has an accelerometer built in but it isn't being used by anything HTC installed in the ROM. I found GSen and tried it, nice, but slow. I tried Gyrator2, also nice but slow. I tried a couple games designed for the Diamond, slow and screen flicker badly. So I had all but given up on a nice smooth IPhone style screen rotate and such.
That is when I found Kinoma player. Now, I know, it is a music/video player right? Well, yes it is, but it also uses the accelerometer in the x7510 perfectly. I mean it was on par with the IPhone. With the other 2 options I found the whole device felt a little sluggish, but within Kinoma it was fast and just worked.
Now, I am not a software developer in any, way shape or form, but I gotta believe if they can do it in that application, I tested the free version, then someone here can definately do as well.
I love my 7510 and want all the creamy goodness I get from it of course. Like most of you. I really hope someone, even if it is the developers of either GSen or Gyrator2 can put out something that can compare to the experience that I now know we can have on this wonderful phone.
