From TomTom 6 to Navigon?

I'm not sure if TomTom Navigation 6 will be working on Touch HD. As the new HTC comes without TomTom 7 pre-installed, which obviously cannot be bought from a retailer, I have to look for a new navigation software. Will Navigon be working on the new device?

It is certainly a good idea to choose a navi software from a company that has a commitment to PDA navigation, and hence new maps and mapshare-like offerings will be compatible. TT does not in general, but currently has a deal in place to provide navi software and updates for selected HTC devices only (Diamond, Raphael). But only with V7 maps, the latest V8-maps are not offered. And if you want TT7 for your HD, you have to revert to the underground :)
