Attention kids of all ages…sizes, colors, shapes, hygiene, status, sexual orientation, marital status, IQ, EQ, aesthetic appearance and mental condition. The Raphael Project Elite Team proudly present you, our family, with RC1 of our ROM. Why RC1? Well, you guys have been great and more than earned an early release. You haven’t constantly bugged us, you haven’t begged, you’ve been exceptional so we figured why not and you’ve helped greatly with donations. Let’s put RC1 out there and let everyone join in the fun. Let’s all come together and test it and let’s see where this thing breaks. It’s not a final so I don’t want to hear people crying…but it’s close.

Flash it, test it, push it, massage it, caress it, stretch it out, poke it, pull it, twist it, load it up, blow smoke in its face, take it with you on our date, fill it up with software, open everything at once, make it go faster, shake it, tap it, scroll it, listen to it, view it, picture it, wink at it, fondle it, spank it, connect it to your TV/PC/etc., TOUCH it, show it off to your friends and family, boink it, take a picture of someone doing something naughty, SMS it, e-mail it, download it, share it, VoIP it, call it, answer it, hang it up, track it, map it, read it, create it, IM it, plan it, schedule it, browse it, remote control it, check the time, check the weather, bookmark it, alarm it, time it, automate it, love it, diagnose it, type it….hell I think you get my point…there is NOTHING this device can’t do. WE LOVE IT!

I would also like for everyone to also give a HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to MrVanx. He’s the cook on this project and he’s done an exceptional job. It’s been a pleasure working with him and this is yet another team mate that holds quality above all. A true professional and someone we’re lucky to have on our team. This man is great at what he does and we love this ROM. Everyone please do thank him!!!

AGAIN, this is not the final release. It's RC1 (Release Candidate 1). There will be bugs and there will be issues. We're looking forward to your feedback. We're shooting for a newer build and also newer version for apps in the final release along with any bug fixes the community/team identifies.

QUICK TIPS FOR A GREAT FLASHING EXPERIENCE

- Best way to flash is without a memory card (SDxx). Some say also without a SIM. I personally leave my SIM in but always remove the SD. I've had many devices and the SD will cause problems if left in.

- Always hard reset after flashing a ROM, any ROM...not just this one.

- Relax, even final ROMs are work in progress and you can expect to find bugs in all ROMs. This is all in fun and done for everyone here. Let's be nice to each other. We are not competing against other cooks. We just have a different approach to things, that's all.

- If you can get into BootLoader your device is NOT bricked. Just connect it up to your system and try to flash again. If it continues to fail and others have had no problems check some basics: USB cable, computer settings, reboot your computer, etc.

Preliminary Project Goals (subject to change) - UPDATED

- Release a fully loaded ROM and a Vanilla ROM.
- Expand band to encompass US 3G if no hardware limit exists (in progress)
- Optimize PagePool (done)
- Update ROM to later build (done)
- Updated Radio (done but new radio not included in ROM, you can download elsewhere)
- Enable scrolling via d-pad circle, smarttouch wheel or whatever it's called. I have no idea what it's called so i did my best. (pending)
- Enhance and tweak ROM for more speed, stability/reliability, etc. (done, check the benchmarks and tell us what you think based on those numbers and your own experience)
- When available, include newer versions of software. (done)

1. Am I going blind? Where is the download link?...
2. US 3G? In the list of goals for this ROM you listed this issue as #1!
3. The build used in this rom is 2.0753xxx has had bad reviewes - mainly regarding Activesync problems. Have you tested and confirmed that AS is working 100% with MS Exchange server?

hope you are going to like my xip, cert patch, uldr removal (YES full removal of the partition, not just sized down ), pagepool hack, etc...

enjoy this real speedy rom... and don't forget it is RC1... we'll have some things different in final, some even more great graphics on its way to the rom for example
