Curtains able to be removed?

I havent seen anyone say yes or no on the mod to remove the curtains on the HD. THe No curtains mod works fine on TP and Diamond. ANyone willing to give it a try? the app can be found in post #2 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...light=curtains

Tried this and it doesn't quite work for me. I can see the back picture when I drop down the Start Menu, but the curtains are not removed in the home screen.

Off to read the thread in the first post now... but if I am missing something obvious please tell me gently...

you have to reset the phone after installing no curtains

Is it possible to remove only the top curtain?
