Default Don't Type R-E-B-O-O-T LOL
Apparently, everything you type into your G1 is read as a command by the Android OS... so if you open your keyboard and type "reboot"... yup, off and on you go...

i dunno if this is true, just read it on Digg...

can someone try and confirm... i'm a diamond owner but have loved the G1 when i got my hands on it

We have discussed this quite a bit in the development forum. That is the reason for the newest FOTA update.

it works on more than just reboot. You can do really serious damage with other commands that can wipe your system

i wonder if that stuff will happen with the porting of android on the diamond/touch pro..

if you are using a version prior to RC30 yes

use RC29 or previous. Either way this thread is closed and dead.
