Stop Activesync

I have had my HD for a few days now and am getting used to it. However, I am finding that every time I use it, activesync is running. Why is this? I have only connected to my work PC once to install two apps that didn't have cab files, but that was on Friday last week.

How do I stop activesync from running all the time?

This happens on the Diamond also - and for that I haven't seen a 'fix' other than in some of the cooked ROM's that you can find on here - no-one's done one for the HD yet, so I guess we have to live with it - t'is annoying though

there is a way of doing it. the method works for kaiser and should for hd as well since os is same and i'm sure same dll/executable is reponsible for starting AS on hd. i just can't paste the link as responding from my tilt but if u do a search as "stop activesync startup" it should bring the thread w/solution.

if u don't find it hang tight and i'll post the link when i get to a desktop.
