Default Speeding up TP internet browsing

not sure if this is posted here but you can easily speed up the browsing a bit.

http://www.dslreports.com/mspeed?jisok=1&

Use this link on your phone and test the speed of it and then go into
settings>Connections>connections>advanced>Select Networks
then change from My ISP to Proxy and retest. I used the 1mb test.
I assume everyones will different slightly.

If this is already posted here somewhere sorry for the multiple thread I didnt find it where I looked.

This was posted in the wiki by me.

http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...om=PalmTreoPro

Like I said in Wiki, this may cause issues with Exchange e-mail and may also just show a faster speed test result due to proxy caching.
Nokia 6800 -> Blue Angel -> Wizard -> Hermes -> Kaiser ->

-Palm Treo Pro-
Stock and rocked.

i can´t change from MY ISP to Proxy, there´s not PROXY option in my device.

it browses very slow when I surf the net in my palm treo, not using the palm treo as a modem. in fact, i´ve not tried as a modem yet.

i normally use my treo with push email connection and it´s always connected for retrieving emails.

thanks

I think the original poster omitted mentioning this hack is only for AT&T? At least, that is what it says in the Wiki.
