Default 1.0.3.2

After a long real-world use-beta, and before it gets more buried by other projects, I figured it's time to publish this baby before it lags behind the competition more.

I'll have to load a 6.5 rom sometime. Have an recommendation that's stable to run?

Da_G's latest kitchen works great. I cooked it for the fuze and added all the tf3d and htc stuff. Flashed the rom and it worked great. I've also added all the rhodium stuff and after a few fixes it works also. Now I have to decide between titanium or tf3d. If feels very stable now for 2 days and I'm pretty happy. The only program I can't get to work is ViiGo my news reader. I will keep trying.

Thanks for your work on Levelsight. Its the best backlight control i've found. It's such a tiny program and no overhead. I'm dreading trying lumeos, but someone says it works w/6.5. I think I'm gonna wait for yours. If you need any help with 6.5 and the likes just PM me...

Ya, I performed magic! Thanks for the compliments on LevelSight.

I'm glad it's working out then... Otherwise, I read Lumos has better GUI controls right now ...

I'm still rocking 1.0.2.1 on 6.5, and I couldn't be happier with it. Thanks again for this app!

Default new Acer m900 support

Since this device has only 3 auto-brightness settings, a full sensor-to-backlight curve is used -- configurable in HKCU/SOFTWARE/Creative 'Ware/LevelSight/0-a -- to map the 11 brightness settings actually available.

Brightness levels to about 4 have been hand-tuned and then it's a linear scale to max brightness.

Currently, the settings are loaded only on service startup, restart the service if you want it to reload the registry settings.

Default 1.1.0.2

Silly level 5 max brightness limiter removed in Acer m900 version.

Level 0 brightness removed because generally not useful.

I'm trying this on one of the newer 6.5 ROMs and the CAB is saying "installation unsuccessful" -- any ideas? I know it's probably 6.5 and I shouldn't bother you but just wanted to see.

TIA!
