snempaa, can you make a little program just for "Keep wi-fi active in sleep-mode", just like in school, I have to put in user name and password on a webpage in order to surf. Thank you!

wonderful application.. the only reason i'm not using it is because of the tray icon..
it disturbs my today screen

I would like to request the option to remove the tray icon.

thank you

Hello,
I've installed WiFi locations on my HTC Touch HD. It works great, but there's one thing to verify.
The option "WiFi on in sleep-mode" works in opposite way - when it's checked, it breaks WiFi connection in sleep-mode. It keeps connection alive in sleep-mode when the option is not checked.

Default A couple of questions

Hi, great work this is just what I've been looking for. I have a couple of questions about it: I want to turn off bluetooth when in a cell on my list and turn it on when outside them for car hands free. for this do I need to tick both activate bluetooth and reverse bluetooth mode? also, will the phone make this switch even when it is sleeping as it would be great if it switched effortlessly when I got in the car. perhaps you could even be more specific and detect a bluetooth device eg a specific car to see whether to activate bluetooth - I'm not sure if this could be made to work in a similar way to WiFi?

Thanks again for all your work.

First: thank you.
I am trying it on my xda Flame.
It detects cells, but I have just one cell now. I will pay attention to the limit of 8.
It does not start bluetooth or wifi or does not change the ringtone. Even if I stop and start again Wifilocation.
I have tried the option to start an application. I have selected one using the ... button. An ok appears in the input box. I tick the option and save. Then when I edit again the cell id, the tick is unticked.
And yes, it should be good if the systray icon should be an option.

Hi snempaa,

Great work! I tested it on the Himalaya but it didn"t work, though I didn't expect it would because of our specific Ril.DLL (Google Maps/My Location doesn't work on ours either due to the need for it to read CellID). I did have a thought though:

I was previously going to design a program like this that would send a "My Text" message once it read the correct CellID. There are lots of uses for it:

1) You could send an SMS home automatically letting people know you are close to home, so dinner is ready when you get there! lol.

2) If you are into home automation like me, you can send an SMS home that would automatically begin devices (switch TV on, aircon or heater on, and boil water for coffee, lol)

Just a thought...Cheers!

I'm using AT&T in the US. But the phone also works in Europe. Is there any way I can use this software in the US? It would be great!
