Default [REQ] Command-line flashlight utility?

Hi all,

I've spent several hours searching the various forums here, and I haven't found anything like this, so I'm hoping that either a) I'm missing something, b) someone can quickly and easily put something together, or c) someone can point me to some info on how to control the camera flash light programatically (using VB) so I can write it myself.

What I'd like is a simple non-GUI command-line utility that, when run, checks the status of the flash light. If it's off, it turns it on low; if it's on low, it turns it on high; and if it's on high, it turn it off. What I would then do is combine that with Proto732's PTT button hack, using the short-click link to run the utility. One click of the PTT - light on low; 2nd click, light on high; 3rd click light off. I find myself using the flashlight fairly regularly, and I love hTorch, but I'm hoping for something quicker.

Any ideas or pointers?

Thanx.

John

Never mind. I just found TorchButton, which works for what I want. Ain't that always the way - you spend hours looking, can't find anything, post a request, then a short while later you stumble across what you want.
